About

A new graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Arts Philosophy Specialist program at the University of Toronto, I am now an independent scholar focussed on feminist ethics and epistemology, with particular attention to the intersection of ethics and technologies such as artificial intelligence, and computational propaganda. Other areas of interest include philosophy of mathematics and analytic philosophy. I am currently studying R programming language for data science applications.

The values shaping my work are curiosity, kindness, and patience: these threads have woven throughout the fabric of my life in a series of transformational experiences. I believe that my challenging circumstances as a disabled, neurodivergent woman have ultimately been empowering, and a source of spiritual development.

Life has also taught me about the power of mistakes – weak moments, rather than breaking the spirit, can be catalysts for self-reflection and self-assessment. The study of ethics in particular has been humbling, because it has made me question and scrutinize everything about myself and my beliefs.

What I’ve found is that philosophy isn’t necessarily a formula for instant success; it can open your perception to new ways of thinking, it can deepen your experience of the world, it can yield a balanced analysis of ideas and information, and it can equip you to discover problems which are usually overlooked.

Outside these philosophical endeavors, I make music and art, and enjoy reading about quantum physics and cosmology.
